Shoot is a file transfer app to send or receive any document as long as the person on the other end is nearby. The way it works is this: you choose the files you want to share, while the other user scans their QR code to receive the files instantly on their Android.
The best thing about Shoot is that the devices don't need to be connected to the same network and the files don't go through the cloud. Without anyone or anything in between, your files will be transferred in a matter of seconds to the other user's device, without leaving a trace.
Shoot uses peer-to-peer technology for transferring files, something that BitTorrent (who developed this app) are experts in. Thanks to this, you can even send big files (more than 1 gigabyte) ... although they take a bit longer, of course.
Shoot is a very interesting file transfer app that's especially useful for sharing documents with friends or coworkers.
